What stays on your Mac

• Your video and audio files. CineLogic reads media where it lives and never uploads it for processing.
• Frames and thumbnails, proxies, and project files (.cinelogic).
• Transcription, speaker separation, face and object detection, music rhythm, and visual scene analysis. These run with models bundled in the app, on your Mac.

What the app sends to the CineLogic service

Some features need our servers. When you use them, the app sends text and metadata — not your media files:

• Iris chat and rough cuts: your messages, relevant transcript lines, clip names and metadata, and the text of any documents you attach.
• Scene and project summaries, speaker names: transcript text and clip metadata produced on your Mac.
• Dictation: when you hold the microphone button, that audio is streamed to our speech-to-text provider to turn it into text.
• Account and updates: sign-in, device sessions, and version checks.

We use AI model providers to generate Iris responses and summaries. They process this text on our behalf to return a result; we do not sell it or use it to advertise to you.

Diagnostics

The app sends product analytics and crash reports so we can fix problems and improve CineLogic. This can include which features you use and interface interactions. It does not include your media files.

Your account and billing

We store your name, email address, and sign-in details with our authentication provider, Clerk. Subscriptions and payments are handled by Clerk Billing and its payment processor; we never see or store your full card number.

This website

cinelogic.app uses privacy-friendly, cookieless page analytics from Vercel and the cookies required to keep you signed in. We don't use advertising trackers.

Your choices

• Everything local can be deleted by removing your project files and the app.
• You can cancel your subscription from your account page at any time.
• To access, correct, or delete your account data, email hi@mindmade.co.
